The tax-free Personal Allowance stays at £12,570 in 2026/27. It goes down by £1 for every £2 of income above £100,000, so it is fully withdrawn once income reaches £125,140.

From 6 April 2026 the basic and higher dividend rates rose by 2 percentage points (2025/26: 8.75% and 33.75%). The additional dividend rate stays at 39.35%. Income bands are taxable income after allowances.
